About the event
Pensacola Jeeps invites you to join us for a premier off-road charity event dedicated to supporting our nation’s heroes. This year all proceeds will be donated to Heroes on the Water, Emerald Coast Chapter. Heroes on the Water is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides no-cost therapeutic kayak fishing experiences to veterans, first-responders, active-duty military members and their families. OPERATION CAMO Objective: Total environmental immersion. By the end of this run, your Jeep shouldn't just be driving through the forest—it should be wearing it. The Terrain: This assignment takes you into the heart of Blackwater’s notorious red clay and silty bottomlands. Forget the fast lane; this is a low-range, high-torque mission. You’ll learn how your Jeep slides and how to correct your steering to maintain your heading.

Navigate the sandy bottoms and refreshing shallows of Blackwater’s scenic creek crossings while letting your suspension do a little work. The Terrain: Features water levels that respect your floorboards. It’s the perfect route to hear the water under your tires without the stress of a deep-sea rescue. Light Articulation: Keep an eye out for minor wash-outs along the route

The Terrain: You’ll encounter the occasional patch of soft Florida sand, a little mud or shallow water, but nothing a stock Jeep can't handle. This is the ideal ride for beginners.
